Serviced tower in Business Bay
DAMAC Maison Distinction is a hotel-apartment building rather than a conventional residential block. It runs under DAMAC Hotels & Resorts, the developer's own hospitality arm, which means the units are furnished, equipped down to the kitchen and supported by front-desk staff, and let in the way hotel stock is let. The developer's records date completion to 30 March 2017. The mix covers deluxe rooms, suites and penthouses, and the upper floors face either the water of the Dubai canal or the Burj on the Downtown side.
The address is Al Asayel Street in Business Bay, close enough to Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road that Downtown Dubai, the financial centre and the Dubai Mall are all short drives, with the district's own malls, restaurants and leisure options nearer still. Shared facilities named by the developer include a gym and swimming pool, a sauna and spa, a kids club and a babysitting service, with a coffee shop and other retail trading at ground level. DAMAC puts Dubai International Airport at roughly 21 minutes by car.
A serviced apartment is bought for different reasons than a flat. What an owner may do with the unit, and on what terms, is set by the agreement with the operator rather than by an ordinary tenancy, and DAMAC does not publish those terms on the project page. They should be read before anything else. Wincasa obtains them from the developer in writing, confirms which units are genuinely available, and puts the reservation through to DAMAC.
