Furnished and finished
Tenora is a completed DAMAC Properties address in Dubai South, handed over on 29 November 2015 after a launch in 2008. What it offers is unusual for the developer's Dubai stock: the apartments are furnished, not simply fitted. DAMAC lists studios together with one and two-bedroom homes, each with an equipped kitchen, warm neutral decoration and finishes already in place. For an owner that removes the fit-out step entirely, which is why the building tends to be looked at by people buying to let rather than to occupy.
The location is the second half of the argument. Dubai South was laid out around the Expo 2020 site and the airport beside it, and the developer describes Tenora as sitting inside a community planned around wellbeing, with community amenities shared between buildings. Al Maktoum International Airport is the nearest airport by a wide margin: DAMAC puts it at roughly 21 minutes by car. Road and rail links across the southern side of the city run past the district, and the developer points to that connectivity as the practical reason to look here.
Because the building is finished, the questions are about the individual apartment rather than the project: floor, aspect, condition, whether it is tenanted and on what terms. DAMAC publishes no starting price and shows the figure as available on request, so nothing useful can be quoted from a brochure. Wincasa Properties, an authorised sales partner of DAMAC Properties, gathers what is genuinely on the market and puts current asking prices in writing against a named unit. Where the developer is the seller the contract is with DAMAC and money moves into the project's escrow account under Dubai Land Department rules; on a resale the seller is the registered owner and the transfer is made at the Land Department. The broker takes nothing from the buyer.
